Jacalyn Reed is a Retirement Plan Specialist at WhaleRock Point Partners, where she provides customized advisory solutions to corporate retirement plan clients. Her expertise spans plan design consulting, investment due diligence, fund lineup construction, and participant education, helping employers build retirement programs that align with both fiduciary standards and employee engagement goals.

Since joining WhaleRock in 2017, Jacalyn has played a key role in the growth and evolution of the firm’s Business Retirement Solutions platform. In 2024, she was appointed Chief Compliance Officer, where she oversees WhaleRock’s regulatory and compliance framework and partners with senior leadership to maintain the firm’s commitment to transparency and fiduciary excellence.

Prior to joining WhaleRock, Jacalyn worked at Putnam Investments on the Defined Contribution Investment Only team, supporting mid- and large-market retirement plans nationwide. With more than a decade of experience in the retirement and investment industry, she brings both strategic insight and hands-on experience to her client relationships.

Jacalyn earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Political Science from Villanova University. She serves on Villanova’s Young Alumni Advisory Council and the Capital Campaign Executive Committee. Jacalyn resides in West Palm Beach, Florida, and enjoys spending time in Newport, Rhode Island.
